Alice In Wonderland had its world premiere at London’s Odeon Leicester Square Thursday night.  
The event was a fundraiser for The Prince’s Foundation for Children and The Arts. Click on the pictures above to view them larger.

Tim Burton Does Sleeping Beauty

As you all know, Tim Burton has a new film coming out in march, Alice in Wonderland. He seems to always find a crazy way to twist around a classic tale. 

Sources say, "Burton's next project could be "Maleficent," a retelling of the "Sleeping Beauty" tale from the evil sorceress's perspective. It's clearly a page taken straight out of "Wicked," the "Wizard of Oz" spin-off that allows the audience to sympathize with the Wicked Witch of the West. Given how well that premise worked on Broadway, it's no wonder that Burton and Disney are looking to put that same spin on some other characters."

Even though Maleficent is a great idea, I'm sure there could be other villans that would tell their stories from an interesting prospective as well, such as Captain Hook, Scar, Jafar, Cruella de Vil, and Ursula.

I love how directors are getting so creative with their movies these days! Not that they haven't always though...
