Billy Ray Cyrus and Wife Tish File for Divorce

How sad!

After being married for 17 years, Miley Cyrus' mother Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus are filing for divorce. The official papers were filed Wednesday in Tennessee. The two released a statement, saying "As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for our family. We are trying to work through some personal matters. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers."

Over the course of their marriage, Billy Ray and Tish had five kids, including Miley.

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Broken Up

After almost a year together, the teen pop star and Australian actor have decided to go their separate ways.

The ex-couple met on set for the movie The Last Song, and kept their relationship strong throughout the last year. 

None of the two have commented yet. 

Miley Cyrus' Birthday Plans

When asked about her birthday plans, Miley Cyrus seemed to already have some ideas in mind. Her birthday is on November 18th, and she will be turning 18.

She says, “I hope I can just have a frickin’ break. Because I haven’t had time, even a week to chill. So I’m probably just going to go to the beach or something. I’ll take about 10 of my friends with me and hang out with the people I never really get to see. A lot of my friends, they work, and I’m in the business too so I’ll make sure we carve out some time so we can relax.

She adds, “You’ve got to get out of California generally, you’ve got to go to a different country. I like to travel, so I don’t really vacation in the states. I’m there all the time, I live in California. So I don’t want California to be my vacation.”
