The Hills Is Over!

You read it right!

This morning, MTV announced that they will be wrapping up their final season after 6 years!

Why, you may wonder?

The creator, Adam DiVello, says he thinks the last six seasons have told the story he wanted to tell accurately enough.  captured the story he was looking to tell and now he and the cast are ready to move on. He explains:

“A lot of these kids have found themselves and have certainly embarked on different careers and different paths.”

The show had to end sometime, right?

Fans have also been wondering if Lauren will be returning, and the crew said "maybe."

Lauren Conrad—Best Seller!

Who would've known! Former The Hills star just released her second book called Sweet Little Lies, which topped the New York Bestseller's list. About the accomplishment, Lauren says

"It's so gratifying for my second book to be so successful and it was so fun to write! The characters were already developed so I really enjoyed the process so much more this time around. All the characters have become like my friends now."

I like this new path that she's going down! MTV must be proud to finally have someone leave their grasp with brains and accomplish as much as Lauren has!
